About Birse Coastal
Birse Coastal is a division of Birse Civils, a national civil engineering contractor and part of the Balfour Beatty Group of companies.
Birse Coastal operates nationally, with activities coordinated from our five
regional offices. We bring to our customers extensive experience of coast protection
works, resultant from Birse Civils being one of, if not the, largest coastal defence
contractor in the UK with a proven track record of delivering schemes:
- safely;
- with outstanding levels of customer feedback;
- ahead of schedule;
- below budget; and
- to high quality standards.
Our extensive experience has been developed on coastal schemes dating back over
40 years, which have ranged from small, one-off projects to large framework schemes
up to a value of £80 million.
