Birse Coastal is a division of Birse Civils Ltd, a national civil engineering contractor and part of the Balfour Beatty Group of Companies.  Our turnover is currently in excess of £40m and we employ some 73 staff. 

 

Birse Coastal operates nationally, with activities coordinated from our headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire.  We bring to our customers extensive experience of coast protection works, resultant from Birse being one of, if not the, largest coastal defence contractor in the UK with a proven track record of delivering schemes:

Our extensive experience has been developed on coastal schemes over the last seven years, which have ranged from small, one-off projects to large framework schemes up to a value of £67 million.
