On Friday 20th June 2008, Birse Water attended the CEEQUAL Awards presentation at the headquarters of the Institute of Civil Engineers in London.

Birse Water has been selected by Thames Water as the preferred Contractor for the largest 100% BioDiesel fuelled Generation project in the U.K.

In March two Birse Water Sites achieved the milestone of reaching 50,000 man-hours worked without a lost time accident. Both sites are for works being undertaken for United Utilities.

Birse Water has now completed 3 years and over 880,000 hours without incurring a reportable lost-time accident.
