Local community celebrates completion of Cross Valley Link Road. The fun run organised by English Partnerships and Birse Civils in association with Wootton Road Runners, celebrated the completion of the Northamptonshire Cross Valley Link Road which joins the Weedon Road to the Swan Valley development area.

Most Considerate Site 2008 - This is the accolade shared by English Partnerships, New East Manchester and Birse Civils North West, from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), for the Beswick Regeneration site in Manchester.

Birse Water has been selected by Thames Water as the preferred Contractor for the largest 100% BioDiesel fuelled Generation project in the U.K.

Birse Civils NE Region and Sheffield City Council won the Civil Engineering Contractors Association Contract of the Year Award.

Birse Civils had an outstanding evening at the CECA (Y&H) awards. Winning both the Contract of the Year Award and the prestigeous Linda Grant Health and Safety Award.
